about us

Dojo is an Izakaya & Sake Bar, with a menu curated by the team behind Michelin rated, James Beard Nominee, Zitz Sum, located in Coral Gables, Florida.

Heavily inspired by our love for small Japanese bars, good quality seafood & all things cooked over charcoal, Dōjō brings together hospitality & familiarity to a space that is comfortable and inviting, designed to be inspired by Japandi interior design with bauhaus accents.

For us, Dōjō means the path & the way “Dō” and the time and place “jo”, tied with the concept of Ichigo Ichie which means “ in this moment, an opportunity”.

Relentless hospitality, excellent food & beverage; and being present in the moment are the core values of what the Dōjō experience is all about.
